culture after work

times I need just five relaxing minutes before I press on the online service of the ARD theme week on work, so at this point a little out of Hamburg.

You live and learn and who would have expected to work directly offer a (partial) cultural program get? Last night I at least not hit me but with my best friend (who lives in Hamburg finally here!) And their co-worker who stood in their move to the side last weekend, at the entrance to the old Elbe tunnel. I had not really expected that one those clock at half past six in the evening could still visit, but was proved wrong, because he is still very much used as a passage from one side of the port to another. free for pedestrians, cars have to fork out still, 2 €, to lay just under 500m back. Old Elbe Tunnel is drafty and in his entire Gefliestheit somehow a little surreal, as he does so completely straight before you. And basically there are two tunnels, narrow one-way streets, lined with a footpath on both sides. The tiles are partially correct artistically, with marine animals, seals, etc., which line the tunnel, quite chic. And from the other side you have a great view of Hamburg, especially when the weather - as last night - played a part.

After that I showed my work area and the two had dinner. Oh, and then came the DOM. The Hamburg DOM. The absolutely nothing to do with a traditional dome. The Hamburg DOM is the largest festival in the north - that is, a huge fuss, in contrast to the Oktoberfest, however, not only consisting of beer tents and food stalls. The helper has moved us can actually persuade more to get on a ride, after we have our two remaining fought it tooth and nail against the roller coaster and the Kettenkarussel in very very high up. The "Black Hole" we have gone through but then still and as a roller coaster in the dark and felt very funny. Nice way, was the medieval part of the DOM, which I knew so far not even know it exists. But as I said, you never stop learning. And the Poffertjes, Poffertjes are always great.

as fast as I do that during the week but no more, today I feel slightly broken on the wheel. It is very old ... -.-

[feedback] Leipzig Book Fair

So I personally find it funny that the ballroom area at the Leipzig Book Fair is now locked in on Sunday for the cosplayers. Allegedly because they have always left such a mess. Honestly, Cosplay and 'Comics in Leipzig' well and good, but it should not be forgotten what it's all in the Event and really original, and anyway and is all about. The stars are and remain the books and maybe it was time again to clarify the time that certain persons, of whom already take too many far too important. Friends of mine are cosplayers and know it to behave. Many do not know. I do not feel as organizers would have to mess.

gave Otherwise what's 'tap off', The Princess Bride the regular and The Secret History of Moscow at half price, I could get hold of a Auslegeexemplar. A few little things and a cute Hello-Kitty-Shoppingbag verwollständigten my yield. I have also a nice day spent with friends from Berlin, then, what woman want more? ^ _ ~ Oh, the weather could have been better, but that's it.

Google - Teatime memory acrobatics ... because there is nothing else to do

I think Google is now the world. O.O
Whether that should now be scary, I do not know for sure.

So, the first week of new job in HH would be so even around. Was indeed fixed. Was stressful and exciting and fun, was nerve-wracking and skuril and cold (somehow I always feel cold, no matter how much I dressed) and long and at all really great. Anton (the office dog) is getting affectionate, always when its mistress not there, he wrapped himself around the feet of any Office chair and I look great, wistful eyes towards the door. My chair offers the best insight to the door. I'm just waiting for that one day I forget his presence, without thinking back to push my chair and drives a howling around the office. He barks when he had swallowed a grater. I never heard a barking terrier in such a way.

After an exciting week, I am downright bored today. watch TV, read, all activities that I could now carry on the weekends again without feeling guilty (because you actually had to write applications) appeared, I somehow only partially satisfactory. Funny, this

Apropro books: recent achievements are The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and The last Unicorn and Two Hearts by Peter S. Beagle .

latter way, is my secret hero. What is for other Tolkien is, for me Beagle. And a classic like The Last Unicorn I've always wanted to read. The Princess Bride still missing in my collection. The blurb, a short excerpt of a dialogue between Buttercup and Prince Humperdink) in the latest edition has made me curious, unfortunately I can not play him at this point, but what I am going to catch on elsewhere.

The first book has also made me curious about the blurb, after initial amazement:
Nobody Owens is a rather inconspicuous boy. He lives in the cemetery, lovingly raised and cared for by ghosts and undead, which are at home there.
But the deadly enemy, before Nobody fled as a young child to the cemetery once does not rest. He awaits the day when the boy left his home is to return to the world of the living. Nobody is there to protect
Who else?
far I like very much that the style seems very simple, almost childlike, yet highly subtle knows how to respond to the reader. I smile to be very häufug, a certain cuteness The style can not help also. But Bod, the boy known to his 'parents' and the other inhabitants of the cemetery, is also just barely five years old.
anyone who knows what to do with Neil Gaiman the way, nothing was said that he is also the story Stardust has written what even just over a year (I think) just in the cinemas.
